I am the founder of OddLabs, a founder-led innovation practice based in Nanaimo, British Columbia. I work with organizations facing complex operational or technology challenges that do not have an obvious off-the-shelf answer. My role is to listen to the people closest to the work, help frame the problem, and shape a practical way to explore it.

As your hands-on innovation partner, I work directly with your team from discovery through prototype planning or delivery. I also help implement and manage the processes around the technology, aligning workflows and team responsibilities so the solution fits the work. If a project needs additional production capacity, I coordinate with trusted collaborators while keeping the engagement founder-led.

My practical experience spans technology, operations, emergency services, security, AI, systems integration, and rapid prototyping. That range matters because operational problems rarely fit neatly into one discipline. The first conversation I have with you is grounded in real operational reality — not generic consulting frameworks.

The work can include a Discovery Blueprint, a working prototype, and a practical pilot plan. Each makes a different part of the idea easier to evaluate. If the concept is promising, we can scope a next phase based on what the prototype and stakeholders reveal.
